What are the FIFA Code of Ethics?

“Understand FIFA’s Codes of Ethics governing conduct in football.”

Introduction
The Codes of Ethics applies to any conduct or conducts other than those specifically provided by other regulations and connected to the field of play that damages the integrity and reputation of football and in particular to illegal, immoral and unethical behaviour of the persons involved in organised football.
Objective
This code sanctions behaviour connected to the field of play and may also look critically at those behaviours that occur outside the field of play such as social medias that may bring the game of football into disrepute.
What the regulation entails
The Code applies to all officials, players as well as match agents licenced by FIFA and football agents likewise. The Ethics Committee is responsible and entitled to investigate and judge the conduct of persons bound by this or another applicable code at the time the relevant conduct occurred. The Ethics Committee may pronounce the sanctions describe in the FIFA Ethics Code, The FIFA Disciplinary Code and FIFA Statutes. Students are expected to dedicate 5 hours of active study to this section.
